Associate Manager, Property
Reading, PA
SUMMARY
In concert with the Field Product Line Manager (FPLM) and a peer Associate Manager in Pittsburgh, PA, drive Property results for the state of PA. Ensure claim policies, procedures, and standards are implemented and maintained to ensure high quality, cost-effective case management. This position will directly manage seven Unit Managers and will share responsibility with another Associate Manager in Reading who will also directly manage seven Unit Managers.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Represent the Property Claim Department on the EMT (Executive Management Team). Lead staff consisting of unit managers and adjusters to reach production, quality and customer service goals.
Oversee local Quality Management (QM) self review process, including execution of the strategy, distribution of claim rep analysis of results; and implementation of improvement plans.
Coordinate marketing and Agency relations. Support Marketing by participating in sales and account management process. Represent the Company, ensuring favorable business reactions and the acquiring and retention of probable business.
Provide directional, technical and leadership guidance to the state wide staff.
Develop and implement strategies and plans to address Unit Manager professional development. Make certain training needs are identified and addressed on an ongoing basis. Develop plans to ensure leadership and technical continuity for the organization.
EDUCATION
Four year college degree minimum requirement.
WORK
Extensive claim management experience.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of marketing, underwriting and account management processes.
Current on jurisdictional laws and regulations.
OTHER
Travel will be required
