|
Receive, review, and verify incoming incident reports. Serve as corporate point of contact for all claims and liaise with assigned adjusters and attorneys for property and casualty claims. Perform claim follow-up. Communicate as necessary with local subsidiary contacts. Provide claim status and issue monthly and quarterly claim and reserve reports. Evaluate settlement possibilities within specific parameters and summarize for approval. Prepare claim cost analysis. Monitor claims for repeat claimants. Oversight and management of claims control programs and program analysis. Implementation of policies and practices to ensure proper claims handling in acordance with Corporate guidelines. Maintenance, analysis and trending of data related to losses and claims. Conduct periodic audits to assure compliance with policies and adequacy of reserve estimates. Assist with the development of methodologies to monitor effectiveness of loss control efforts. Subrogation of property and automobile losses. Assist with litigation management.
Requirements:
Four-year college degree or equivalent experience and prior claims experience in Workers' Compensation, with particular emphasis on NY, CA, PA and FL jurisdictions, and General Liability. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills, proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). ARM or CPCU a plus.
