York Insurance Services Group, Inc. (York) provides nation-wide workers’ compensation and liability claims administration services for insured and self-insured, public and private employers.

York currently has an opening for a Senior Workers’ Compensation Examiner in our Roseville, California office.
Position Summary:
-Handle a workers’ compensation caseload from inception to final settlement, including the initial investigation.
-Develop a strategy to negotiate claims to a timely conclusion.
-Verify, analyze and appropriately issue the payment of benefits to our injured workers.
-High verbal and written communication with our clients.
-Determine the need for, and direct, defense counsel for our clients.
-Adherence to York/client claims handling guidelines.
-Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum four (4) years experience as a Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner.
S.I.P. Certified
Experience with Public Entity Employers including, but not limited to Public Safety issues a plus.
